Aktok's engineering challenge isn't a toy problem. We're building an agentic operations platform - a system where AI agents autonomously manage CRM, projects, support, and communication across multiple businesses. That means real distributed systems, real AI infrastructure, and real users depending on what you ship.
We're looking for developers who want to work on something that matters - and who are comfortable shipping without a safety net of product managers, QA teams, and six layers of approval.
What You'd Work On
Frontend
- The main client app with Material components and dense operational workflows.
- Complex forms, real-time views, and product surfaces that carry real user load.
- The Page Builder and Chrome extension that round out the product stack.
AI / ML
- RAG pipelines, embedding generation, and vector search inside AICM.
- FastAPI services wired to Qdrant and Redis for agentic workloads.
- MCP tooling that connects AI agents directly to the platform's state.
Infrastructure
- Microservices for mail, CDN, SSO, analytics, and the glue between them.
- Docker-based local environments and CI/CD pipelines that keep shipping moving.
- Database migrations, schema decisions, and the operational details around them.
What We're Looking For
- Strong in at least one lane: TypeScript/NestJS, Angular, Python/FastAPI, or infrastructure.
- Comfortable reading other people's code inside a large monorepo.
- Can ship independently - write it, test it, push it.
- Clear written English, because async communication is how we work.
- Bonus if you have experience with AI/ML, vector databases, or agentic systems.
We don't care about your degree, your years of experience, or where you worked before. We care about what you can build.

Time Commitment
Flexible. We're not asking for 40 hours a week. We're asking for consistency - a few hours a week, regularly, shipping real work. If you can do more, great. If not, that's fine too. What matters is that you show up and deliver.
