We need salespeople who can have that conversation, who can walk into a meeting with a consultant managing 15 clients on HubSpot and Asana and show them a better way. Not with a scripted pitch, but with genuine understanding of the problem.

This is a commission-only role with a clear path to full employment. You earn from day one. Prove you can close, and you move toward a base salary on top.

What You'd Do

This is not a handoff-heavy inbound role. You own the conversation from first signal to signed deal, then feed what you learn back into the product.

Prospecting

  • Identify consultants, agencies, and operators who match our ICP.
  • Run LinkedIn outreach, email sequences, and warm introductions.
  • Build your own pipeline. We will give you positioning and tools, but you own the hustle.

Discovery & Demo

  • Run discovery calls around the prospect's current stack, pain points, and goals.
  • Demo the Aktok platform around business problems solved, not feature lists.
  • Handle objections honestly. We are early-stage, and directness is part of the sale.

Closing

  • Own the deal from first touch to signed contract.
  • Negotiate within clear guidelines, with no drama and no fake urgency.
  • Hand closed accounts off cleanly to Customer Success for onboarding.

Feedback Loop

  • Report objections, competitor mentions, and recurring feature requests.
  • Turn real market intel into product decisions and sharper positioning.
  • Help shape what we build next by staying close to customer reality.
Qualification signal

What We're Looking For

  • Sales experience in SaaS, B2B tech, or consulting services.
  • Can explain complex products simply, without jargon dumps or fake certainty.
  • Comfortable selling an early-stage product where incomplete is not the same as broken.
  • Self-motivated enough to build pipeline without someone managing every move.
  • Good English, written and spoken, is required.
  • Regional market knowledge is a plus. Tell us where you operate and what business landscape you understand.

We do not need closers who hit quota once inside a big company with inbound leads flowing. We need hunters who can build a pipeline from nothing.

Compensation

Commission-only to start. We're being direct about this.

  • You earn a percentage on every deal you close.
  • There is no cap on earnings.
  • Commission details are discussed in the conversation so the structure can match the deal reality.

Path to employment

  • Demonstrate consistent results over an agreed period.
  • Move to a base salary plus commission model.
  • This is not a vague promise. We need a sales team, and this is how that team starts.
